AI that works for you, on your own machines.

We build automations, software and trading tools around the way you already work. They can run on your own computers or servers, so your data stays with you. Tell us what's taking up too much of your time, and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

What we build

Three things
we're good at.

Most projects start with a simple question: what's eating up your time, or what do you wish your tools could do? Here's where we usually help.

01Automation

AI workflows & automation

If your team copies data between tools, answers the same questions every day, or digs through documents to find things, we can usually automate a good chunk of it.

  • Take repetitive admin off your plate — email, spreadsheets, CRM updates
  • AI assistants that can search and answer from your own documents
  • Tasks that run on a schedule, or whenever something happens
  • A person signs off wherever you want one

02Software

Custom software

For when off-the-shelf software almost fits, but not quite. We build tools around how your business actually runs — with AI added only where it's genuinely useful.

  • Internal tools, admin panels and customer portals
  • Dashboards that pull your numbers into one place
  • AI features added to software you already use
  • Web, desktop or mobile — hosted wherever you like

03Quant

Algorithmic trading bots

You bring the strategy and the rules. We turn them into code, test them against historical data, and build in the risk controls before anything trades for real.

  • Your strategy, coded exactly to your rules
  • Backtesting and walk-forward testing
  • Position limits, stop-losses and a safety cut-off
  • Automated trading through supported broker APIs

Trading carries real risk. We can't promise profits, and we won't pretend to.

Talk through your strategy

Not sure which of these fits?

That's completely normal. Describe the problem in your own words and we'll work out the right approach together.

Why local matters

Your data stays
with you.

Most AI tools send your information to someone else's servers to process it. If you handle client records, financial data or anything confidential, that's a fair concern. We build systems that do the work on hardware you control.

Private by default

Your data is processed where it already lives, so less of it ends up with outside companies.

Pick your AI models

Run open models on your own machines, use a hosted service, or mix both. You decide what goes where.

Works with what you have

A laptop, an office server or a private cloud account — we set it up for whatever you're running.

It's yours

You get the source code, the documentation and the setup scripts. No lock-in, and nothing hidden.

To be upfront: running things locally cuts down on who sees your data, but on its own it doesn't make a system secure. We'll help you set things up sensibly — access controls, updates and backups — and we'll be clear about the trade-offs.

Try it yourself

Good trading bots are
mostly about risk.

Pick a strategy style, change how much each trade risks, and switch the safety cut-off on and off. You'll see how much the risk settings change the outcome — often more than the strategy itself.

How we work together

Simple,
step by step.

We start with a conversation, not a contract. You'll see something working on your own setup before you decide on the full build.

  1. 01

    Have a chat

Tell us what you're trying to do. We'll ask questions, look at your current setup and work out if we're a good fit.

    → a plan and a tailored proposal
  2. 02

    See it working

We build a small working version with your real data, on your own setup — so you know it works before going further.

    → a working prototype
  3. 03

    Build it properly

We turn it into something dependable: tested, documented and easy to look after.

    → the finished system
  4. 04

    Hand it over

We install it on your systems, show your team how it works and hand you the code. We're still around if you need us.

    → it's all yours
Questions people ask

Straight
answers.

Can't see your question? Just ask us — or email support@theailab.party.

How much does a project cost?
It really depends on what you need, so we don't publish fixed prices. Once we understand your project, we'll send you a proposal that lays out the scope, timeline and cost clearly. You're under no obligation to go ahead.
What happens after I send the form?
We read your message and reply by email, usually with a few questions and a suggested time to chat. From there we'll put together a proposal if it looks like a good fit. No sales sequences, and no pressure.
Do I need special hardware to run AI locally?
Not always. Plenty of automations and smaller AI models run fine on a modern laptop or desktop. Bigger models work better with a graphics card or a dedicated server. We'll look at what you have and suggest what makes sense — including a mix of local and cloud if that's the better option.
Can you still use services like ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Local-first means you get to choose. We can keep sensitive work on your own machines and send everyday tasks to a hosted service — and the rules for what goes where are visible and yours to change.
Who owns the finished system?
You do. We hand over the source code, settings, documentation and setup scripts. Ongoing support is available if you want it, but you're never locked in.
Will a trading bot make me money?
Nobody can promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What we can do is code your strategy accurately, test it thoroughly and build in sensible risk limits. Markets can still lose you money. We don't give financial advice or manage anyone's funds.
Which brokers can the bots connect to?
Brokers and exchanges that offer an official API for automated trading, depending on their terms and your account. It varies by broker and country, so we'll confirm what's possible for you early on.
How long does a project take?
A focused automation is much quicker than a full app or trading system. After our first conversation we'll give you a realistic timeline with clear milestones, so you know what to expect.
